Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Kyndred Inc. By using Kyndred, you accept them. You must be 18 or older to use the service.
What Kyndred is — and isn’t
Kyndred is a dating education platform: members (“Kyndees”) book paid virtual sessions with mentors (“Kynders”) for dating guidance. Kyndred is not a dating or matchmaking service. Sessions are not therapy, medical care, or licensed counseling. Kynders speak from personal experience; their advice is their own, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Your account
Keep your information accurate and your login private. One account per person, and you’re responsible for what happens under yours.
Booking and payment
The price is shown before you book and charged through Stripe when you book. Cancellations and no-shows follow the policy shown in the product at booking time.
For Kynders
Kynders are independent — not employees or agents of Kyndred. Payouts run through Stripe Connect and require completing post-session feedback within the window shown in the product; payouts clear after a short hold, and a missed feedback window can forfeit a payout. Taxes on your earnings are your responsibility.
Community rules
- Treat members with respect. No harassment, hate, or threats.
- No romantic or sexual advances toward members. Kyndred teaches dating; it isn’t for dating.
- Keep sessions and payments on Kyndred — don’t move them off-platform to avoid fees.
- Don’t record sessions without everyone’s consent.
- Don’t scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the service.
- Don’t use Kyndred for anything illegal.
Your content
What you post stays yours. You give Kyndred a license to host and show it where the product needs it — like public Kynder profiles. Reviews must reflect real experiences. We may remove content or profiles that break these terms.
Our content
The Kyndred name, the Better At Dating™ mark, and the design of the service belong to Kyndred Inc. Please don’t copy them.
Ending things
You can stop using Kyndred anytime; email [email protected] to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that should survive — amounts owed, disclaimers, liability limits — survive.
Disclaimers
Kyndred is provided “as is.” We review Kynder profiles for completeness before listing them, but we don’t guarantee any Kynder’s qualifications or any session’s outcome. Use your own judgment in every interaction.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Kyndred’s total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Indemnity
If your breach of these terms causes a claim against Kyndred, you’ll cover the resulting costs.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Kyndred Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll update the date above and flag material changes in the product; continued use means you accept the new terms.
