Privacy Policy

Kyndred Inc. (“Kyndred”, “we”) runs a dating education platform where members (“Kyndees”) book virtual sessions with mentors (“Kynders”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email [email protected].
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email, phone number, birthday, and a password (stored hashed).
- Profile content: photos, videos, your bio, and any experiences you offer.
- Requests, messages, reviews, and feedback you write on the platform.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe; full card numbers never touch our servers. Kynder payouts use Stripe Connect, which collects identity and bank details directly.
- Text you type in the home-page composer stays in your browser until you sign up and post it. Before that, we only record that you started typing — not what you wrote.
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.
- Product analytics (via PostHog): page views, clicks, and feature usage, so we can see what works.
- Cookies for signing you in and keeping your session secure. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.
Services we rely on
We share data with a small set of providers, each only what it needs to do its job: Stripe (payments and payouts), Twilio (video sessions), PostHog (product analytics), Google (fonts and maps), and our hosting and email providers.
How we use information
- Run the service: requests, bookings, sessions, reviews, and payouts.
- Keep the community safe: moderation and enforcing our rules.
- Support you when something goes wrong.
- Send service emails about your account and bookings.
- Improve the product using aggregate analytics.
- Meet legal obligations.
How we share information
Profile information appears where the product shows it — public Kynder profiles, your requests, and your bookings. Beyond that, we share only with the providers listed above, when the law requires it, or as part of a business transfer. We never sell personal information.
Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. Some records, like transactions, are kept longer where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can edit your profile in the app at any time. To access, correct, or delete your data — including deleting your account — email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights; use the same address.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfect — if you spot a problem, tell us.
Age
Kyndred is for adults. You must be 18 or older, we check your birthday at signup, and we don’t knowingly keep data about anyone under 18.
Changes
When this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and flag material changes in the product.
